Happy V-Day!

Yes, I mean Valentine's Day. Get your mind outta the gutter!

So, How about these Webkinz things, eh? I went to the local Hallmark store to get one for Maya for Valentine's day, and my God, The madness!! You should have seen the mom's in there, all crowding around the webkinz display as if they were oxygen and oxygen was going out of style or something. Everyone wanted the limited edition Valentine webkinz, which obviously you are not going to get on Valentine's day. Oh, wait! That's right! A town 45minutes away STILL HAS THEM PEOPLE!!! Let's all hurry up and get there before they are gone, gone, gone! I kid you not, a few mothers actually left to do just that.

Don't get me wrong, I actually love webkinz. They are just so damn cute, I almost wish I could collect them myself. Maya has 5 of them, and when she returns home from school today she will have 8...

Yes, that's right I bought her 3 today. In my defense, they are lil'kinz and they were buy 2 get 1 free.

I made the mistake of having my parents with me while picking them out. My mom kept grabbing animals from other shelves, "look at this! Isn't it cuuuuuute!" Yes, mom, very cute but that's a Beanie Baby. She likes Webkinz. My mom just didn't seem to get it. I explained the whole virtual world to her, I think I lost her at "You go to this website..."
